The beautiful Grade II historical Manor House is a stunning backdrop for your celebrations and can also be used for bridal party photographs. Choose from four lawns with extensive formal and informal gardens for different elements of your day to create a wedding journey for your guests. Start with a ceremony up on the terrace and then move through to a choice of gardens for drinks and canapés before heading over to your chosen marquee.

The Facilities

Woodmancote also allows couples use of the lakeside area and deer park for photographs, particularly spectacular during ‘golden hour’. And for those wanting to make a weekend of their wedding celebrations, we can also arrange glamping with our preferred partners. Bespoke planning and management packages also available.

Did you know that in the 1500s, Woodmacote Place was owned by Edward Seymour (brother of Jane Seymour) who was made Protector of the Realm by King Henry VIII? However, its history dates back even further than this to1066 where the oldest parts of the house were listed in the Doomsday book?
